Naomi Harlan

Naomi Harlan is an American singer and songwriter best described as Americana Country soul.

She has written theme songs for non profits and companies such as "Project, We. The. Children.", "Scrapbooking.com" and "The Rachel Covey Foundation, Bridleuphope”. She performed at TEDx where she debuted an original song about the town she lives in, Ogden Utah.

Harlan moved to LA in 2009 to pursue a music career. She started writing and recording with producer Jason Mater. Together, the two wrote "Memories Were Made To Last" for Scrapbooking.com. It was selected to air on the E! Entertainment's TV Show "Guiliana and Bill". "Memories Were Made To Last" was also selected as 1 of 10 finalist songs for the "Write.Your.Song.Competition." for the Project, We.The.Children foundation concert. Harlan performed the song at the HOUSE OF BLUES in Hollywood, CA.

In early 2014, Naomi began working with Bob Boykin composer, producer and session guitarist. Boykin has played and toured with country icons such as Pam Tillis, John Schneider, and Dolly Parton. Boykin recorded and produced "Run Like The Horses", a theme song written for the "Rachel Covey Foundation" (of Franklin Covey) called Bridleuphope, which helps young girls gain confidence and hope through equestrian training.

Harlan’s journey landed her in a charming historic town in Utah, where she fell in love with the city, its history, and its people. She wrote a song called “The Wild Wild West” which was then produced by the Nashville Grammy award winning songwriter Monty Powell. Monty has written songs for artists such as Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum.

Naomi currently resides in Ogden Utah, where she recorded her first independent acoustic EP - released in 2017. She performed at the 2017 TEDx , where she debuted the song she wrote about the town, it’s rich history, booming future, and personal connection to it.

She continues to write for non-profits and causes close to her heart. Look for her new independent singles to be debuted on iTunes “The Wild Wild West” , “Run Like The Horses” , and “Black Diamonds” in 2019.
